Tottenham centre-back Cristian Romero was involved in a heated altercation with teammate Emerson Royal at half-time.
Liverpool made an electrifying start, with Salah giving them the lead inside 15 minutes with a great header.
Emerson Royal was to blame for the goal, who started as a makeshift left-back in the absence of Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies.
He was too casual and unaware of his surroundings as Salah creeped behind him fully unmarked to score the opener.
And Liverpool continued to pile up pressure on the Spurs defence and eventually got their second with Robertson finishing off from close range after Salah’s effort was saved by Vicario.
The Reds went in the break leading 2-0 but could have easily scored a few more and Cristian Romero was visibly annoyed at his defence.
In fact, cameras spotted him involved in a heated argument with Emerson Royal at half-time, before Vicario quickly intervened and separated the two.

"I don't mind that kind of behaviour but they should have that aggression in their defending"
