It has finally been confirmed, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is officially a Tottenham player.
The former Southampton man is Spurs first major signing this summer and it has not taken the club too long to release a video of the 25-year-old and images of him in a Tottenham shirt.
It has also been officially announced that Kyle Walker-Peters has signed for Southampton.
According to the BBC Hojbjerg joined Tottenham for less than Southampton’s £25m asking price, but above Tottenham’s £15m opening offer.
Yeah, so he has to lead by example, gain the respect.
I really don’t get all the negativity. You need a bit of steel and he brings it.
He’ll stick to the ‘low block’ tactics that Maureen wants to play. He’s got a lot to say about how things should be done.
However, he played most of his early football in Bayern’s B team 15 appearances for Bayern’s first team, then loaned out and played not a great deal in the the top division in Germany before Saints. He’s a tactical cog for Jose but he’s no world beater, certainly hasn’t been so far. Not the profile of player we should be in for to improve the squad.
Nothing against him, just seems another bargain basement squad filler from Levy…
