Two Tottenham men make Premier League Team of the Year

By Bruce Grove -

Two Tottenham players have made the Amazon Prime Team of the Year decided by Peter Crouch and Alan Shearer.

Tottenham struggled for much of the start of last season and they didn’t end 2019 well, despite reaching the final of the Champions League in the same year.

Since they made Jose Mourinho their manager at the end of last year, things have gotten better for them.

He helped them qualify for the Europa League, and they have started this season as one of the favourites to win silverware.

The key to their success has been the fine form of some of their players with Harry Kane and Son Heung-min standing out from the rest.

Both players have formed a deadly combo in the Tottenham attack and it has helped the team to score the goals needed to achieve their objectives.

As the year winds down, both players have made the Team of the Year.

Selected by Shearer and Crouch, they joined Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah in a three-pronged attack that would cause problems for any team in the world.

Other players who made the team are Bruno Fernandes, Jordan Henderson, and Alisson Becker.

Fitness playing a big part in these Jekyll and Hyde performances that are afflicting every club.
Tommy Doc gone, I’m feeling old. Old school.

Hoping to see the pair on scoresheet against Leeds. The way they play, it’s almost perfect for us. Gung ho attack and a poorly organised slow defence.
