Tottenham will beat Fulham unless this one thing happens reckons Lawro

By Bruce Grove -

Mark Lawrenson is fairly confident that Tottenham will get the better of Fulham on Thursday evening, especially if Jose Mourinho goes with Gareth Bale, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane once again.

However, Lawro does highlight one way that Tottenham can lose and that is if they experience another dip in form.

Writing on his BBC column where he gives his weekly Premier League predictions the former Liverpool defender reckons Spurs will be too strong for Scott Parker’s improving side.

He wrote: “Tottenham were very impressive against Burnley on Sunday and if they can repeat that performance, with Gareth Bale, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane all fully fit and playing well, they are going to have too much for Fulham too.

“I know Fulham have had a few decent results in recent weeks, but it’s hard to see them matching the draw they managed with Spurs in January, unless we see a dip from Jose Mourinho’s side.

Lawrenson was joined by Tottenham fan and DJ Majestic, who predicts a 3-0 win for Spurs but does qualify his opinion with the usual complaint that Mourinho holds the attacking players back too much.

That is probably the biggest hurdle for Spurs, not utilising their attacking power to its full effect and basically parking the bus, especially if they grab an early lead.

As long as the lads do not hold back and play as they did against Burnley then they really should be picking up all three points.

Both Lawrenson and Majestic have made solid predictions and a good win while keeping a clean sheet is definitely on the cards.
