Tottenham Hotspur midfielder James Maddison was absent from Wednesday’s training session and the development will come as a concern for the Tottenham fans.
The 26-year-old midfielder has reportedly been playing through niggles according to reports we covered earlier and the fans will hope that he has not picked up a serious injury. The midfielder picked up a knock during the first half against Chelsea as well.
The midfielder was not spotted in the training video posted by the club.

Maddison has been a key player for Tottenham this season and he has been outstanding since his big-money move from Leicester City. Losing him for a considerable period of time would be a devastating blow for the North London club and it remains to be seen whether he will return to action for the trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Tottenham are already without a number of players because of injuries. Ryan Sessegnon, Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic were already sidelined and now Richarlison has been sidelined after undergoing an operation on a pelvic injury. Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie were sent off against Chelsea and Micky van de Ven picked up an injury in the first half of the game against Chelsea as well.
Spurs will want to continue their impressive run of form and they need their key players on the pitch to sustain their recent performances.
