Tottenham summer target teases about a move to the Premier League

By Bruce Grove -

Ojogo had reported in the summer that Tottenham wanted to sign Braga striker, Paulinho.

But the deal didn’t go through and they signed Carlos Vinicius instead, it seems that the striker is now eyeing a move to England as he teases about playing in the Premier League.

Spurs needed a backup striker to Harry Kane in the summer and they had to settle for a loan move for Vinicius.

Paulinho has remained at Braga and while Vinicius struggles to play for Tottenham, he has continued to score the goals in Portugal with nine goals and two assists in 18 competitive games this season.

It remains unclear if Spurs will make the loan move of Vinicius permanent, but they will need a striker to back up Kane again next season.

Because of this, they will welcome Paulinho’s latest quotes about the Premier League.

Speaking to Record recently, he admitted that the Premier League is the best league in the world and that all the top players will love to play in it.

“All the players like (English football),” he said. “We are talking about the best league in the world, the most competitive league in the world.”
