Tottenham and Arsenal have been the fiercest of rivals for a long time now and their rivalry looks to be extending to the transfer market.
The Lilywhites have been the better side in terms of league placement at the end of each season for some time now with Arsenal not even making the Champions League in the past few seasons.
They have also been battling for players in the transfer market and there is a new player that has been linked with a move to both of them.
Olympique Marseille’s Morgan Sanson has become a subject of interest for both sides recently (TalkSport) and it seems that Spurs might be losing to their bitter rivals in the race to sign him.
This is because former Premier League striker, Louis Saha has revealed that the midfielder is leaving for the Premier League and specifically joining Arsenal.
Quoted by the Sun following an appearance on the Football Index Podcast, Saha said: “I heard that Morgan Sanson is potentially moving to Arsenal.”
Sanson is set to leave Marseille after he couldn’t agree to terms on a new deal with the Champions League campaigners.
He has played 138 times and scored 23 goals for Andres Villas-Boas side and it remains to be seen if Tottenham will hijack his move to the Emirates.
