Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon has been given a decisive ultimatum regarding his future at the club.

According to the latest from Football Insider, Spurs are hoping the 27-year-old secures a move to Turkey before their transfer window closes, or else he risks spending his playing time on the sidelines.

Having not been part of manager Ange Postecoglou’s plans, Reguilon has been deemed surplus to requirements, with Tottenham keen to offload him as he enters the final year of his contract.

Despite initial interest earlier in the transfer window, no deal materialised for the Spanish left-back, leaving him in a difficult position.

Spurs have made it clear that without a move to Turkey, Reguilon is likely to be frozen out.

His time at Tottenham has been a rollercoaster. He arrived in 2020 on a five-year deal and made an immediate impact in the first season.

However, a series of injuries and inconsistent form have hampered his progress, leading to loan spells at Atlético Madrid, Manchester United, and Brentford.

Despite showing promise during his time with Brentford, where he recorded 4 assists in 16 appearances, he has not secured a permanent transfer away from North London.

With the Turkish transfer deadline fast approaching, both Reguilón and Tottenham face important decisions.
