Tottenham offered the chance to sign South American who scored a last-minute winner against them

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign Inter Milan’s Mattias Vecino according to a new report in the Daily Star.

The midfielder has been one of Inter’s most important midfielders since he joined the team, however, he has seen his playing time under Antonio Conte reduced this season and that could be an indication that the club wants to sell him to make room for new signings, the report claims.

Vecino is a familiar name to Spurs fans who follow their team because he did hit a last-minute winner against them in the Champions League last season.

The Uruguayan is a midfielder that will bring top quality and energy to the centre of Spurs’ midfield.

The report claims that he is valued at £18 million and his representatives are looking to get him a new home.

They have reportedly offered him to Tottenham in their bid to get him out of Inter Milan and Spurs are considering if they should make a move for him.

The report further claims that Jose Mourinho might need to sign him because the Portuguese boss sees Eric Dier as more of a centre back now which opens up a spot in the midfield for a new player.
