Tottenham managerial target informs friends what he feels about replacing Conte

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a number of managers in recent months.

The north London club sacked Antonio Conte following his explosive outburst after the game against Southampton. The Italian manager criticised his players and questioned their commitment towards the club.

Spurs have left Cristian Stellini and Ryan Mason in charge until the end of the season and they are looking at potential long-term solutions now.

Former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann has been linked with a move to the Premier League and Tottenham are reportedly monitoring this situation.

The 35-year-old manager has proven his quality in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich. He could prove to be an exciting addition to Tottenham.

His attacking philosophy is likely to delight the Tottenham fans and the underperforming attackers at the north London club are likely to benefit from his style of play as well.

However, a report from Football Insider claims that the German manager has now informed his friends that a move to Tottenham could damage his career.

Apparently, Nagelsmann believes that he needs to join a club where he will win trophies immediately and Tottenham might not be the right fit for him.

It will be interesting to see if Daniel Levy can convince the 35-year-old to take over at the Premier League club at the end of the season.

There is no doubt that Tottenham have a top-quality squad at their disposal and with a couple of intelligent additions, there is no reason why they cannot win trophies next year.

The north London club has been linked with managers like Vincent Kompany and Mauricio Pochettino as well.
