Tottenham looking to sign Serie A target at a huge 25% discount

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham might get a 25% reduction on the asking price for Arkadiusz Milik this summer as Napoli looks to get him off their books.

The Polish striker has emerged as a top target for Spurs this summer in their bid to get a backup striker for Harry Kane.

Kane has remained the club’s top striker for several years now, and hopefully, he will remain the number one for many more..

However, he has been getting injured recently, and when he has been missing the team has suffered.

Fernando Llorente offered some cover when he played for the club, but the Spaniard left them last summer and he hasn’t been replaced.

Milik has refused to sign a new deal with Napoli, much to the frustration of the Italian side.

Italian media outlet Gazzetta has revealed that Tottenham wants to sign him, but Daniel Levy will not pay Napoli’s 40 million euros asking price, especially because he will not even be a regular starter at the club.

It then adds that Spurs can still land him for a reduced price and Napoli is expected to chop off at least 10million euros in their bid to sell him for a fee.

Milik’s first choice destination is Juventus, however, the Italians have just had a change of management and that might see them move away from signing him.

Can’t see us spending thirty million on a striker more like ten to fifteen.
