Tottenham Hotspur are looking to strengthen their squad during the January transfer window and they have identified Samuel Iling-Junior as a target.
A report from Football Insider claims that Tottenham have now registered their interest in signing the winger next month and Juventus are prepared to accept offers of around £20 million.
Tottenham certainly have the financial muscle to get the deal done and they want to bolster their attack in January. Newly appointed manager Ange Postecoglou has introduced an attacking brand of football at Tottenham and they need to sign quality attackers in order to execute his style of play.
They are currently missing wingers like Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic due to injuries. They will have to bring in adequate replacements and Iling-Junior could prove to be a quality addition in the long-term.
The 20-year-old might not be ready to take the Premier League by storm just yet, but he is a top-class talent with a big future ahead of him. Tottenham could nurture him into a key star.
In the meantime, the 20-year-old could be a useful squad player for the North London outfit.
There is no doubt that the winger has the potential to justify the £20 million investment. The former Chelsea academy graduate will feel that he has unfinished business in English football, and he will look to prove himself in the Premier League and establish himself as a player for Tottenham in the coming seasons.
If he manages to fulfil his potential with the North London club, the move could prove to be a major bargain.
