Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly among the clubs showing interest in Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.
The 21-year-old has struggled to secure a regular place in the starting lineup since his €18.5 million move to the Bundesliga giants and has recently been linked with a potential departure.
The highly rated midfielder has voiced his disappointment at the lack of playing time at Bayern Munich.
In an interview with De Telegraaf via 90min, he expressed his desire for more opportunities on the pitch.
He said:
“I had expected that I would get more chances and minutes than I eventually got. I had done very good preparation and thought I deserved it.”
“I just want to play more, preferably at Bayern Munich. And otherwise at a club where I play 100 percent. That’s my preference. Because I don’t want to have another year like the one I’ve had now. One like that. One season is good, I really learned a lot. But I just want to play football .”
The report claims that besides the Merseyside club. Tottenham, Newcastle and West Ham are all ‘keeping an eye’ on the player’s situation.
While the player’s preferred destination appears to be Liverpool at the moment, there is still uncertainty about his final destination.
Former Spurs fan favourite, Van der Vaart has previously claimed that Ryan Gravenberch is “better than Bellingham“, and thst he should have joined Tottenham instead of Bayern last summer.
With the transfer window now officially open, it remains to be seen which club secures the services of the young star.
