Tottenham injury update is not all doom and gloom, there is some good news

By Bruce Grove -

Jose Mourinho is probably fed up with this current international break and the constant negative news regarding the status of his players.

This is because he will now have some of them return with injuries.

Spurs will face West Ham in their first game after the break but that match will only be the start of a series of games that will see them also compete in the Europa League group stages.

Football London has revealed the club’s current injury problems and the state of things with some of their injured players.

Spurs have asked for Harry Kane to return after he complained of muscle tightness in the England training on Sunday night.

However, he has remained with the national team even though he is a doubt for their game against Belgium.

The report also claims that Gareth Bale will be available for the West Ham game, in a huge boost to Jose Mourinho.

Giovani Le Celso is another player that is injured at this time and the Argentinean had to withdraw from the international games, he will still not be back when they face West Ham.

Sounds like it could be a while yet before Mourinho is able to field is very best starting XI, however, the squad has depth now and the way the lads are playing there is confidence in whatever team the boss puts out.

I do remember it well!
What I like about self confident Grealish socks rolled down is that he is a carefree entertainer!!

& do you remember the season Villa went down & Mr. Levy royally fu**ed up the possible purchase by a measly few £m??
There was only a few of us that recognised Grealish’s class & so many were anti & dismissive!?

Not entirely convinced about Mason Mount who resembles Alli a little, anonymous for periods then pops ups with a goal!!
As did the rest of the side Declan Rice played better in the 2nd half than 1st half.

Hence the reason his current market valuation is around the £70m-£80m mark!

A lesser cautious Southgate approach ought dictated that he played from the start and be an automatic starter hereon!

After defeating Belgium minus the maestro simply hand the England captaincy to surely automatic starter Jack Grealish who oozes class and makes things happen?
