Brazilian defender Vanderson has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the past, and they remain keen on signing him.

The 23-year-old has been quite impressive for Monaco, and Tottenham are keeping tabs on his situation. They could look to make a move for him if Pedro Porro decides to move on in the summer.

The Spanish international has been linked with an exit from Tottenham, and it remains to be seen how the situation develops. He has been a key player for the club, and losing him would be a devastating blow for Tottenham. Cristian Romero is already expected to move on in the summer, and losing another key player would certainly hurt the club.

However, they are looking at potential alternatives, and Vanderson has been a long-term target for them. The Brazilian has proven himself in France, and he has the physicality and technical attributes to succeed in the Premier League as well.

Tottenham remain keen

According to Pete O’Rourke from Football Insider, the player will cost £25 million, and Tottenham have the finances to get the deal done.

“He’s impressed at Monaco, a Brazil international, and a number of Premier League clubs have been looking at him over the years.

“He’s still got three years left on his contract at Monaco, and Monaco will be demanding a decent fee of probably £25million to let him go.

“Tottenham, now with Champions League football, will be looking to strengthen their squad and will have money available.

“So I’m sure he is somebody who is still on their list, but I don’t think he’s a priority right now.”

It will be interesting to see if they come forward with an offer to sign the South American in the coming weeks. He is likely to be tempted to move to the Premier League, and Spurs will be an exciting destination. They have secured Champions League qualification for the next season, and the Brazilian will look to fight for trophies with them in the coming seasons if he joins the club.

Vanderson is more than just a defender, and he has the technical attributes to operate in a more advanced role. He could help Tottenham improve at both ends of the pitch.
