Tottenham Hotspur are keen on reinforcing their attack in the winter transfer window.
The London club have their eyes set on Samuel Iling-Junior and according to a report by Football Insider, they have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of the 20-year-old Juventus winger.
Iling-Junior came through the ranks at Chelsea before joining the Juventus youth academy back in 2020. The England youth international made it to the Juventus first team towards the end of 2022.
The 20-year-old has featured in a total of 22 matches for the Italian giants. He has had limited game time but has managed to put in some impressive performances. In the ongoing season, he has just four appearances and an assist to his name.
With Juventus struggling financially they are looking to cash in on the England youth international. He is not that important a part of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans and his departure won’t cause them much trouble.
The Italian giants are well aware of the interest in his services from Tottenham and they will look to cash in on the winger who has the potential to be a special player. Spurs do have an advantage as his contract runs out in the summer of 2025 and after the end of the season, he will only have 12 months left on his deal.
Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is keen on attacking reinforcement. He feels they lack depth up top and with long-term injuries to Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic and the recent groin surgery for Richarlison, they do need to a new winger in the winter window. Iling-Junior is a huge prospect and his arrival will surely help them in the short as well as long term.
