Spurs expected to receive stunning €60m bid for star attacker – player already offered a 4 year contract

Tottenham are expected to receive a €60m bid for Son Heung-min from Saudi club Al Ittihad.

That’s according to ESPN who claim that the Saudi club are confident they could convince the South Korean striker to join them.

In addition to the substantial bid, Al Ittihad has allegedly offered Son a four-year contract worth an impressive €30 million per season.

However, despite the tempting offer, the report suggests that Spurs may not be interested in selling their star player this season, making the likelihood of the move quite low.

Son currently has two years remaining on his contract with Tottenham, which is set to expire in 2025.

Being a crucial player for the team, Spurs will be in no rush to part ways with him. However, if the offer proves too enticing, chairman Daniel Levy could be temped.

Under new manager Ange Postecoglou, Son is expected to play a key role in the team’s future plans. The Australian will undoubtedly hope that the club stands firm and rejects any potential offers for the talented forward.

He joined Spurs form Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 and has since scored 145 goals and assisted 80 others in 372 games.

He’s not the only striker who is being linked with a summer move. Harry Kane’s contract expires next summer and there have been no indications of him extending his contract with the North London club.

After yet another trophyless campaign from Spurs, Kane might look for a move away in hunt to win silverware.

Manchester United are one Premier League club strongly interested in him but the latest report claims they are not willing to meet Levy’s demands.

That being said, it is extremely unlikely that the club sells both their strikers in the same transfer window.
