“Tottenham could be a possibility” – Romano drops encouraging update on attacker linked with Spurs

By Mehdi Gokal -

Fabrizio Romano has shared the latest on Tottenham’s pursuit of Juventus winger Samuel Iling-Junior.

Speculation surrounding the 20-year-old’s potential move to North London has been fueled by multiple reports linking him with a transfer to Spurs during the upcoming window.

Journalist Daniele Longo previously reported Tottenham’s intention to make a move for Iling-Junior in January.

And he shared an update yesterday claiming that Tottenham has now initiated contact with Juventus regarding a possible transfer and that the player could leave the club as early as January.

And now Fabrizio Romano has shared his update regarding the potential transfer.

Romano, speaking on KICK, emphasised the concrete interest from English clubs, particularly highlighting Tottenham as a feasible destination for Iling-Junior.

He hinted at the player’s strong desire to return to England, positioning it as a top priority for the January transfer period.

He said:

“The interest of English clubs in general is confirmed. It’s a concrete possibility for Iling-Junior to go back to the Premier League.

“He would love to go back to England, this is priority for the January transfer window, so Tottenham could be a possibility.”

“I think he is going to leave Juventus.”

Juventus reportedly seek a transfer fee ranging between €15-20 million, an amount seemingly manageable for Tottenham as they aim to strengthen their squad’s depth.

The reports linking him with a move to Spurs are gaining strength day by day and it is possible that he will become a Tottenham player come January.
