Tottenham chances of signing Jack Grealish depend on one thing

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham’s decision not to force their way into signing Jack Grealish when they had the chance to a few seasons back is one mistake that they will be regretting now.

The young Englishman is now worth a lot more and linked to more teams, making it even harder for the Lilywhites to land him.

After helping Aston Villa to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season, the midfielder admitted that he isn’t sure if he hasn’t played his last game for the club.

His statement seems to open the door for him to make a move away from the Villans, and Tottenham is one of the teams who are linked with a move for him.

Jose Mourinho’s team will want to land him as usual, but the odds are stacked against them at the moment.

Spurs is one of the teams that have suffered huge losses due to the coronavirus pandemic, and their summer transfer plans will be affected by it.

They have been linked with moves for several players apart from Grealish, but Football.London reports that it is very unlikely that they will be able to sign Grealish due to the current financial climate.

It adds that the only way that the Lilywhites will be able to land him this summer is if they get a huge financial windfall from the sale of their players.

Depends on whether Levy sells N’Domb, then it’s how much he is willing to spend, so it’s not totally out of the question.

The boat has sailed… Worth 70-100 million now.. In 4 or 5 years he will be worth more. The lad has it all.. Englands future best player I believe…. He will go to a club with money like united or city.. Darren Bents opinion that we are his only option is like a bad joke… Would love Jack in. Perfect for kane too, since Dele has struggled the link from midfield is poor.

If only Mr. Levy had not been such a tight minge & paid the extra £5m the other summer!
If we are in for him again, let’s hope & pray the gods of good fortune are with us.
