Tottenham can still sign striker target after Serie A giants hesitate at cost

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham has been given hopes of signing Napoli striker, Arkadiusz Milik after a new report claimed that Juventus are not willing to meet his asking price.

The striker has emerged as a target for Tottenham as they search for a backup striker to Harry Kane.

The Englishman has borne the burden of scoring most of the goals that Spurs need, however, when he has been unfit or injured, the Lilywhites have struggled.

Mourinho knows that staying fit for an entire campaign is something that is not guaranteed, and he will very likely want a striker that can score goals when they are unable to call on Kane.

Milik has been one of the best strikers in Italy and as he enters the final year of his current deal, he will be on the move after telling the Naples side that he won’t be signing a new deal.

His preferred destination is Juventus (InsideFutbol), even though Napoli will prefer to sell to a team outside of Italy.

They have quoted a fee of 50 million euros for the Old Ladies, but they are not willing to meet that asking price, according to Gazzetta dello Sport via Insidefutbol.

This has opened the door for Spurs to still land the Poland striker. Because Napoli will prefer to deal with a team outside of Italy, Spurs might be given a discount on their asking price.

The report said Juventus wouldn’t pay the asking price ,doesn’t mean they don’t still want him.The player wants to go and Juv want him for less money.

LOL, Levy wouldn’t pay half that, we have absolutely no chance whatsoever of signing him.
