Tottenham are set to be without two star players against Arsenal in what is a ‘huge blow’ for Conte

By Mehdi Gokal -

Tottenham have suffered a major blow with the hamstring injury of Dejan Kulusevski ahead of Saturday’s North London derby.

During the international break, the Swede started both games as his country faced Serbia and Slovenia.

He played the entire 90 minutes in both games, but he has returned to the club with a hamstring injury and is now a major doubt for this weekend’s match against Arsenal.

The Athletic reports that Spurs doctors are keeping a close eye on the situation.

Kulusevski, who is set to sign a permanent deal with the club for £31 million in the summer, has been in excellent form this season, scoring once and assisting three times in six Premier League appearances.

Spurs could also reportedly be without their key star Hugo Lloris this weekend in what is said to be a ‘huge blow‘ for Conte’s team.

In better Tottenham news, Kane, Son Heung-min, and Richarlison all scored for their respective countries during the international break and all report back to club duties fully fit.

Since his debut he has provided more premier league assists than any other player… 11 assists. More than DeBruyne… Coolio has generally played well against all opponents. A couple of duff games here and there same as everyone… He’s a loss whether starting or on the bench.

Now that is a blow (bloody Internationals) I see Kulu as the link man and was annoyed when he benched him instead of Son and then when he did bench Son…….but thats another story. Who have we got to step in for him certainly not Emerson of the nil end product.
Hugo we have been prepared to lose for a while so not so much of a shock and lets see what Big Dog can do.

Richarlison, Romero, Pericic and Bissouma are all within the first “11”, Lenglet (Loan) will be playing a lot, then you got Foster (will most likely play tomorrow) and Djed (whom will get time on the pitch sooner rather than later) and Destiny out on loan. I wish we had a CB and a ST within the team, however they still look solid.

What ? He was outstanding in the second match against Man City and I can’t think of a poor game he had last season . Are you sure you’ve been watching Spurs ?

He’s been a very good signing, I’m just saying that he’s not really been as consistent of late and less so against bigger opponents. Or am I banned from saying that?

I reckon Hugo will play, Kulusevski doesn’t do as well against the bigger opponents so perhaps not such a massive loss.
