Tom Holland interviews Tottenham forward Son Heung-min

By Eddie Razo -

Actor Tom Holland is in the news for some movie called Spider-Man: No Way Home; as a result, he’s doing the media rounds helping with publicity for the Marvel film. Nonetheless, Holland took the time to help promote the movie while also satisfying his fandom as a Tottenham Hotspur supporter.

Holland spoke with Son Heung-min in an in-depth interview that touches on various topics, such as Holland recalling where he was and what he was doing when Son and the Spurs squad advanced past Ajax in thrilling fashion to the UEFA Champions League final.

Another topic that Holland brought up with Son is his goal from 2019 against Burnley when the South Korea international accelerated with the ball past two defenders and other Burnley defenders in the vicinity.

The 29-year-old went from Spurs’ end to the Burnley box, putting it past the goalkeeper for an incredible goal. The Tottenham star stated that it was one of those goals out of his normality as a player, considering he’s not a dribbler.

“Obviously, I think when I received the ball in my box, I tried to pass it,” Son said to Holland.

“I am never going to dribble past all the people there. Suddenly I started to dribble, and in two seconds, I was one on one with the keeper, and then I was like, ‘what?’ I could not believe it.”
