To Feyenoord And Back: Spurs Scouts Might Hijack Arsenal Target

It’s difficult to get a grasp upon just how Tottenham will proceed in the transfer window this summer. There is either a rallying of the existing personnel or there will be a new coach appointed and more low-key acquisitions made in the hope that a top 4 finish and European football can be snatched. That’s with a caveat that ENIC’s skin is soooo thick that it will take dicing with death moment, with the side heading for relegation before the trigger would be pulled on Mourinho.

The remit for the Portuguese was to win something, which might shed some light upon if not the wisdom but certainly the thinking behind the Gareth Bale loan. Just a pity that so far we’ve seen a paucity of glory-aiding moments and instead a fair amount of smirking.

Another day, and another transfer target has emerged…

Sportsmail understands that Spurs have communicated with Orkun’s representatives to register their interest and will continue to be updated on his future.

Orkun Kokcu’s big cause for concern is his injury record in the last 6 months, which may explain why Arsenal who has also been linked with the player, has not made their move.

The 20-year-old made the Eredivisie’s team of the month for both February and March, but the two leagues are very different from each other. There’s undoubtedly a talent there, but that won’t be much use to us if all he does is get to know Erik Lamela and Gareth Bale well.

Might be something to this as the Eredivisie is one of our hunting grounds, providing us with Super Jan, Eriksen, Davinson, Bergwign and in a round about way Alderweireld. We also got Jannssen there but keep that quiet.
