THST Appear To Have Done A 180-Degree Turn| video

By The Boy -

The Supporters’ Trust is a funny old gaggle. One minute they’re issuing rather aggressive statements from their website and the next, they’re planning to be as obedient as lambs. A call was made for the board to resign, and now they would appear to have dropped that power grab and instead opted to progress with ‘board to board discussions’ – minus a running commentary.

My view (again) is that the club will take control of these individuals, put everything past their lawyers, and then offer a solution that is agreeable to the club, modelled upon the solutions offered by other clubs already.

Personally, I would have spoken to THFC in an entirely different manner all along – with the primary aim to be the retention of the existing White Hart Lane stadium. But hey, I’m just a football man, not a bureaucrat.

Do you remember the old lady who used to sell badges outside Paxton Road ?

“ Badges, badges… I’ve got lovely badges”

Peanut man always had a dew drop on the end of his nose

Was just about to write the same thing. Not that I love conspiracy theories, but what some others here term “controlled opposition” could probably apply here.

You don’t go from “put the board’s heads on spikes” to “we will continue discussions without a running commentary”.

They’re either that or just incompetent loons.

Haha mate I was just about to post the same thing! Peanuts. Roasted peanuts! 1977 running about a half empty east stand below the shelf while my old man watched the game and kept half an eye on me. We signed two World Cup winners the following season. Admiral kit. Glenn Hoddle, best footballer I’ve ever seen 😍 1981, 82, crying my eyes out in 1984 when Robbo equalised against Anderlecht. Loved that geezer. Was a few yards away when he put Charlie Nicholas into the crowd at Highbury. Win the ball though and didn’t even get booked. Levy boy now though 😔 What has happened to our game, our club? Sky, VAR, enic. My dad grafted until his dying day but had nothing to show for it. We lived in council houses our whole life. But I got every new kit and we went home and away.I can’t afford to take my boys now but the mad thing is I don’t even want to! Football, life, it’s gone as we knew it. Breaks my heart. My club is no more, replaced by a fake Tottenham, run by people who don’t know what it means. F*uck Levy, f*ck enic, fuck football in general it’s gone! Plastic fans and poncey one footed so called footballers wearing gloves in April!! Anyway rant over. I’ve had a few beers apologies to anyone who’s still reading this sh*t. Love to Harry Hotspur and all the real yids. God help us all 😂😩😂

😬 just read this back and it sounds like some lengthy suicide note from a disillusioned Tottenham fan. Goodbye cruel world 🤦🏻‍♂️ It ain’t! I’ve got a beautiful young wife of 14 years and two healthy happy boys. More than I could ever have dreamed of. But spurs have been in my blood since I could walk and now it feels like they’re gone, so forgive the ramble, try to understand, and please give generously 🙂 COYS 💙👏🏾💙💪🏽💙😢
