Harry Redknapp believes that Jose Mourinho has his work cut out for him as Tottenham have gone backwards this season.
It’s been a damaging week or so for Spurs as they crashed out of the FA Cup and Champions League.
Having also fallen off the pace in the battle for Champions League qualification ahead of their showdown with rivals Manchester United on Sunday, they will desperately try to salvage something from the campaign between now and the end of the season.
Speaking to Sky Sports, as seen in the video below, Redknapp conceded that his former club have gone backwards this year and he believes that Mourinho has a “big job on his hands” to turn things around.
The ex-Tottenham boss added that he envisages changes being made to the squad this summer, but time will tell if the recruitment is right to ensure Spurs can compete again next season.
As per BBC Sport, Mourinho himself has insisted the club is aware of the need for a more balanced squad after their recent injury woes, and so they could look to address that in the summer.

“but time will tell if the recruitment is right to ensure Spurs can compete again next season.”
Well it would help if Mourinho could teach the current load of dross how to pass a football and keep possession.
There’s hope for the Aussies yet.
Harry loves to think he’s still relevent.Bless.
Coronavirus response:

Empty streets
Australian government tells workers to stay away from work…
Down the beach
Amazing. Rent-a quote comes out with this obvious statement and it’s news.
People have been saying this for months on here. Keep up Harry (Redknapp).
