“They should be kissing the floor that he walks on” Bale Agent Gives Real Madrid Both Barrels

By The Boy -

Gareth Bale’s acrimonious falling out with Real Madrid was a wound highly unlikely to heal, even the Welshman’s return to North London was never going to allow Spanish hearts to allow any fondness in.

Bale’s farewell from Madrid was marked with a churlish club statement, that inferred the 31-year-old was no more than a player who happened to be in the right place at the right time. A mere passenger. In fact, forget churlish, the wording is embarrassing given the impact the boy had on the game, let alone that particular club.

Sergio Reguilón, was thanked for his “commitment, professionalism and exemplary behaviour”, it doesn’t require much imagination to work out that the stark contrast was deliberate.

Agent Jonathan Barnett’s words – here in The Sun – quite frankly put the Spanish club in its place. It is impossible to imagine that this loan deal will ever result in Bale ever returning to the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid fans are probably the most ‘entitled’ in the world and it’s understandable to a point. They generally outspend everyone else, they have teams full of superstars, unless players stick their tongues up the fanbase’s backside they don’t like it. They think it’s a privilege for anyone to play for them, that’s sort of ok but it soon spills over in to something quite unpleasant.

Something quite like a fascist or communist regime. Jackbooted supporters, f*ck em…

Despite all he achieved even Ronaldo had an acrimonious departure from RM and had a mixed relationship with their fans. They are entering a period of transition which will give them a dose of reality

When you consider how Gareth’s situation developed from being a hero down to zero at Madrid, I am sure Barnett was the steady hand that guided him through a very difficult period, where the club and it’s fans turned on him. No doubt truth will out eventually, about the way he was treated during the past couple of years, which must have been a traumatic time for a lad who wouldn’t say boo to a goose. I’m sure that being the kind of character he is, that the halcyon days back at the Lane must have played a part in him wanting to return .
Look forward Gaz, not back now lad.

I wish someone would give Jonathan Barnett both barrels from up close and personal. The greedy little pimp who laughed at any connection with us for his client so many times. Fortunately Gareth has got better taste than his agent has. You’ll find a slime trail that will always lead to the likes of him. No time for these parasites.
Having got that off my chest it’s good that the loan deal will hopefully keep him with us until Bale’s contract expires. It’s also good that Reg doesn’t have to return to RM if he doesn’t want to.
