These three pundits deliver their Arsenal v Tottenham predictions

By Bruce Grove -

The pundits have been out in force this week giving their predictions on the North London Derby later today at the Emirates.

As things stand right now, Tottenham lead Arsenal in the standings by seven points with both teams having played 27 games each.

It is fair to say that Spurs have more to play for, especially after the Everton and Chelsea results from yesterday in the race for a top-four spot.

It is almost impossible to predict the North London Derby, form does tend to go out of the window in a game where almost anything can happen.

That, however, has not stopped the pundits from having a go at predicting the outcome.

The BBC’s Mark Lawrenson has gone for a comfortable 2-0 win for Tottenham. For Lawro it is all about form and he reckons Spurs have the edge over the Gunners in that regard.

Former Tottenham man Dimitar Berbatov, via the Metro, is also going for a Tottenham win by a scoreline of 3-1. For the Bulgarian, it is all about Son, Kane and Bale and believes they will be the difference today.

Michael Owen is doing a bit of fence-sitting and reckons it will be a 1-1 draw as cited by the Mirror. The former Liverpool ace is of the opinion that Arsenal will dominate and Tottenham will counter.

So, there you have it, two go for Tottenham wins and one predicts a draw. In better words, none of them sees Arsenal winning or Tottenham losing.

Hopefully, at least two of them are correct.

Yeah 2 more results went our way and I suppose a man u win will also help out in the evening.
It’s getting to the stage where it’s in our hands and more than reasonable to get top 4.
The squad happiness seems improved ,confidence is growing and momentum is with us.
This is local derby so anything can happen but I’m worryingly confident to get all 3 points today.
