Troy Parrott is a player on Tottenham’s books that had raised doubts previously, with a source close to the club suggesting the Irishman had issues, and now it looks as if Parrott’s loan at Millwall has been nothing to write home about either.
The 19-year-old has made 12 appearances for his loan side, in various attacking positions from attacking midfielder to centre forward, his minutes played per game averaging 90-minutes. So the boy has seen plenty of opportunity. That said, Millwall have subbed him off on 6 occasions.
Beyond the zero goals and zero assists, we find 4 shot assists, but only 20% of his shots on goal were actually on target. None of this reflects well upon the boy or the coaching staff at Millwall.
One might take a view that these are early days, but it must surely make Parrott uncomfortable being in 16th and see Skipp flying at Norwich City in pole position. Millwall might not be his ideal location, but not being able to get more shots on target surely has nothing to do with the badge on his shirt, eh?
Edwards is improving, but time isn;t on his side…
It’s a four letter word
Tappa also continues to harp on about Marcus Edwards, so make what you will of that! 😛
I think we had another player who went to Millwall and he’s turned out well. He needs to put the work in first.
Tappaspur has seen a lot of him and swears by him..
Parrot has no defence, you can’t polish a turd
Millwall are an awful team, League 1 standard. I’ve seen a bit of them lately and in Troys defence any chances he gets he has to make himself because he gets zero service. What I would say is a lot of his shots get blocked so he needs to be sharper.
