“There are many details we have to do better” Tottenham man honest after another poor result

By Bruce Grove -

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has urged his teammates to be braver after they dropped two more points against Fulham last night.

Jose Mourinho’s men have been one of the teams considered for the title in this campaign, however, they have been dropping points unnecessarily.

The game against the Cottagers offered them the chance to close in on the top of the league table, but they failed to take it.

After watching Ivan Cavaleiro cancel out Harry Kane’s opening goal, Hojbjerg admits that the result was disappointing.

He said that they had to show more bravery and do better in terms of their organization and being solid as a team.

Spurs play again in a few days and the Dane says he is happy that will happen because it will give them the chance to get back to form and show what they are about.

‘Very disappointing,’ said Hojbjerg via Mail Sport.

‘We have to do better in a couple of aspects of the game. More bravery, more focus in terms of organising the team and being solid as a team.

‘That doesn’t mean you have to stand in your own box and defend, it means the team is compact, the team is close to each other. I had a chance, I had to score. There are many details we have to do better.

Spurs will face Sheffield United next, on Sunday and they have to get back to wining ways in that match.

‘I’m happy there is a game in three days again so we can show a reaction, show we are better than this. We are ready to go again, and of course heads are high.

‘There’s a long way to go. We’re still very ambitious. We’re still very solid and very hungry as a team. We’ll keep going.’

After 55 years of watching Spurs i have had enough. 3 holding midfielders against Fulham. If this is the way you want to win trophies then good luck to you all.
Joyless football is not for me.
Keep up the good work Harry,
Hope to return to the Spurs fold Post the special one.

Boring the other team to defeat never used to be Spurs.

Onto the next game is always a great excuse. I’m baffled by the respect we’re paying teams like Fulham. You’d think we were playing Bayern Munich.

Other teams should be living in fear when they see Kane and Son like most teams seeing Salah, Firminho and Mane were beaten before they stepped on the field.

Nobody fears us because we’re so cautious when we go one nil up. They know now we’re going to give up a goal probably from a set piece. It’s up to Mourinho and the team to sort this. They’re getting well enough paid.
