Football London claims that Tottenham has narrowed their striker search down to just one individual.
The Lilywhites are in the market for a new striker in this transfer window as they try to get set for the new season.
They have relied on Harry Kane for goals over the years and the England captain rarely disappoints them.
However, when he has been unavailable to play, the club has suffered and they want to address that in this transfer window.
They have been linked with a move for top strikers like Arkaduisz Milik and Callum Wilson in recent weeks.
The latter has Premier League experience and will likely be sold by Bournemouth in this transfer window because of their relegation from the English top flight.
However, Football London reports that Spurs have reservations over the high transfer fee being demanded by the Cherries.
It claims that Spurs have now maintained an interest in only one of their striker targets and that is Metz’s, Habib Diallo.
The Senegalese striker scored 12 league goals in 26 league games last season and he remains one player that Spurs think has the attributes and character to act as a good backup to Kane.
The report adds that Spurs have enquired about him and he is keen to join them in London.

We were always odds on to go for the cheapest option.
