The Very Latest NDombele To Spurs Update

By The Boy -

You do realise that this isn’t called the Silly Season by chance, don’t you?

Today has been a crackerjack example of stupidity.

The NDombele video hit the Internet and was naturally shared by just about everyone.

However, the depths to which some have sunk is frankly surreal.

Sky Sports News’ Lyall Thomas is telling the world he ‘understands’ that there will be no decision this month! This is the very latest update!

This is because the tape has the flippin’ player saying he’s off on his holibobs!

I am focused on what I have to do in the field. I’ll go on vacation, I’ll rest my head, we’ll see after.

Er, okay Lyall thanks for the inside track, mate.

Then we have the Internet bottom feeders aggregating this complete hokum.

The truth is, that Spurs need to place a winning bid for Tanguy – so don’t get distracted upon who’s where or why – keep focused on a deal actually being done.

I hope we sign this boy on the basis I hope we sign someone, anyone. Marcus Edwards is not to be confused with ‘just like a new signing’ under any circumstances.

So thanks again for this vital update Lyall, eh?

Breakdown of the family is one thing, but if you have kids no matter of the family breaks up or never existed you look after them to the best of your ability otherwise you have no right to have them. 50% social issues and 50% not being a decent parent? Discuss?

These kids have no guidance apart from other slightly older kids on the street. When human beings grow up in an environment when there is a lack of discipline, love or any example to follow then they create a fucked up world of their own design. Where are the dads giving these boys a slap and keeping them in line? Teachers and social try but they can’t do shit, a cycle of misery for all involved.

Easty starting with a breakdown in the family, fundamentally the problem emanates from a distinct lack of respect for parents, teachers and society respectively.

Not sure that would work in this day and age DD, but some kind of boot camp for the boys and some kind of punishment for absent fathers and mediation system so where possible, both parents are involved. If it helps even 50% -60% of kids have a different upbringing it will make big difference. It becomes the example to follow, right now the example is being a fucking useless idiot…

Having watched the first debate this eve mimicked in some quarters the rational polite softly spoken non charismatic Rory Stewart has seemingly thrown down the gauntlet to his budding rivals as the next leader of the Tory party until of course Boris Johnson naturally steals the limelight in the next debate on BBC Tuesday eve answering questions from the feisty Emily Maitliss!

From Ndombele’s interview it should be noted that we are the only club that he mentions by name, therefore we are likely the only club, thus far, that has made a firm offer for him. It is also probable, for him to so publicly consider us, that the basic structure and terms of a salary package have been agreed with his agent and are acceptable to the player.
All of which therefore leaves one ‘minor’ detail outstanding. Yes indeed, entering the fray, Captain Tightwad of the good ship ‘Anchor Tenant’! Our intransigent supremo, armed to the teeth with Green Shield Stamp books, discount coupons, a real-time exchange rate calculator at hand, poised to change any agreed upon price even before the ink is dry on the contract, ready to do battle with French counterpart Jean-Michel Aulas.
In the unlikely event that there are no other suitors for Ndombele, there is an outside chance our Captain Tightwad will grind down Aulas into accepting a lower price that he intended. However the more likely scenario is what might be dubbed ‘the Eden Hazard syndrome’, whereby our intrepid commander dons his ‘Mr Buddy Buy Wrong’ cape and whilst procrastinating/quibbling over a multitude of implausible repayment options/contractually jousting on a pinhead, etc, is suddenly gazumped by a ‘big club’ with greater ambition, who come in and just pay the asking price.
The truth is there is no excuse. We have the money, the player is more than open to joining us and almost certainly he is the #1 choice of the manager, to fill the defensive midfield position vacated by Mousa Dembele. Our only obstacle is the intransigence of our diminutive chief executive in the transfer market and an apparent pathological aversion to paying the prevailing market rate for any player. A stance which cost us the signature of Eden Hazard and which, unless corrected, will result in the lost opportunity of acquiring Ndombele also.

Having perfected the art of brinkmanship to the detriment of the club, nothing changes. We all know the score. Get used to it or organise a demonstration. Thats simply Levy’s frustrating style!

In the video it’s the interviewer who mentions Spurs and he offers a diplomatic response.I doubt he’s heard the personal terms yet.The Lyon chairman knows Levy so won’t be put off I don’t think.

Double D is right no room for that sort of talk anymore. We need to stop the misogyny, Myself included.

Ah the same much maligned Chairman the vast majority of fellow posters on this blog at the time were urging Levy to sign the supposedly amazing KOVACIC before hindsight correctly determined he successfully dodged that bullet!!

Problem is with Thomas n Gold is it’s hard to see where Levy’s seat ends and their noses begin.
Their utter dry attempts at reporting the ongoing negligence as anything but is an insult to even their own intelligence.
I’m gonna tell it now and feel free to quote me on this – N’dombele will not be at Spurs come next season either we won’t meet the fee or the wages or both.
PS levy is a C U N T

Daveboi whilst you are clearly no fan of Levy nor am I a paragon of virtue must you resort to using the “C” word?!
