Mourinho goes no comment, but aviation fan has other ideas on Spurs transfer

By Bruce Grove -

We are very close to the season finishing and the transfer window being officially open and that means that rumours, speculation and gossip will reach fever pitch.

A lot of it can be dreary nonsense but every now and then something will pop up that cuts through the silliness and that could be the case with Beijing Goan defender Kim Min-jae.

Yesterday, Football London stated that Tottenham is very serious about signing the South Korean who has the nickname Monster, however, the same report also claimed that negotiations are not that advanced because Beijing Goan is keen to hold on to the defender.

Well, today, I came across this

Now, let me be clear, I have no idea about the veracity of this and therefore make no claims based on this alone, however, when you add up the steady stream of reports, not just from the UK, and add that image and the corresponding comments into the mix then the signs are there that something is happening.

Jose Mourinho was asked about the 23-year-old and while he refused to discuss the speculation, he never denied it either.

Then you add in claims from South Korean media via Naver Sports that the youngster is set to fly to the UK for talks with Spurs, reports in China that a deal is close (Xinhua News) and of course, multiple UK reports including Football London you then start to see a picture emerge.

As I stated above, I make no claims based on the flight tracker image above on its own, however, when I add in everything else that is available from all the right places I am prepared to go out on a limb and state that I am of the opinion that a deal will be agreed very soon, maybe even this weekend.

The signs are all there.

The Chinese club must have accepted Levy’s offer then of a tenner and Foyth going the other way.

The Evening Standard have denied a deal is close, time will tell. Yesterday The Guardian reported Everton had made a bid for Hojbjerg which Everton promptly denied. The window doesn’t close until October, this could be long and tortuous just like this season.
