Tottenham are reportedly interested in Nice ace Youcef Atal as José Mourinho could look to bolster his options at right-back.
The 23-year-old has made 14 appearances so far this season, contributing a goal and two assists in those outings to show quality in the attacking third too.
However, he is currently sidelined after undergoing knee surgery and that in turn has meant he hasn’t featured since December.
Despite that, SportWitness note, via Le Foot, that Spurs are said to be interested in prising him away from France ahead of next season, and so it remains to be seen if they are successful.
After allowing Kieran Trippier to leave for Atlético Madrid coupled with Kyle Walker-Peters leaving on loan in January, that doesn’t leave much in the way of quality depth at right-back behind Serge Aurier.
With that in mind, the fans below are seemingly pleased that a right-back could be on the agenda this summer, and they are particularly excited about the opportunity of Atal being a possible solution.
