The football-shaped round hole in our lives could be patched up this weekend with the return of the Bundesliga. Sure, it isn’t our beloved Tottenham, but this is a square peg that is more than welcome after two months without the Beautiful Game.

If, like me, you have no loose ties to any Bundesliga club, have never travelled through the Rhine Valley nor boozed it up in Hamburg, Sky Sports have come up with a handy guide to affiliate supporters of each Premier League club to their German equivalent.
And apparently for Spurs that is Eintracht Frankfurt.
