Tanguy Gave Us Glimpses Of Sheer Unplayable Joy Last Night

By The Boy -

The acclimatization of Tanguy Ndombele at Tottenham has been a gruelling experience. In the Amazon show, All or Nothing, the scene with Daniel Levy, the player liaison wallah and Tanguy himself was plain bizarre. Our illustrious CEO was in full open necked shirt holistic mode and Tanguy himself looked as if he was completely confused as to what he was doing at the club, let alone in that room. When José Mourinho called the Frenchman out for being ‘always injured’, it was clearly a moment that caused a huge feeling of disrespect, a moment which wasn’t quick to repair.

Thankfully, a peace was brokered and now we have a player who is growing into the beast that we all hoped that he might be. As with Hojbjerg, this is precisely the type of player that could absolutely flourish under José, and become one of the most feared midfielder in the country.

More, please!

Dembele never had that many goals or assists,he kept the ball in tight areas without losing possession and was able to carry it forward before giving it to Eriksen. Is N’dombele not similar and we need LoCelso when selected to up his game with goals & assists. Sorry I have just read your second posting and it’s exactly what you are suggesting.

I was in the same frame of mind as Jose in the summer,Ship up or ship out regarding N’dombele, apparently it’s down to Levy insisting he wasn’t about to take a massive hit after one season on his record signing that he’s still there and Jose & Tangy have put their differences to one side for now.

That’s what we want. Whether or not Jose plays that 3 instead of playing 2 more defensive mids is another matter. Get the shackles off I agree. Let’s see.

Yesterday Sissy beating players dribbling into the penalty area for one moment I thought he was Lionel Messi in disguise until Sissy was dispossessed at the key moment!

when they’re fit and able the PEH, Tanguy, GLC mid three will be where it is at. Tanguy dribbling like that and handing off to GLC after attracting two. Dynamite

He’s improved no doubt but so far he’s been nearly brilliant too often and isn’t hugely affecting games. The question is will he? We need assists and goals and consistently opening up defences. Jury’s out for me still.
