Spurs not worried about the future of high profile star despite Kane situation

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham is confident that Son Heung-min won’t be leaving this summer despite the uncertainty surrounding the future of his strike partner, Harry Kane.

The South Korean is arguably the second most valuable player at Spurs at the moment.

He has formed a deadly strike partnership with Kane and they were the reason Spurs were early contenders for the Premier League title.

The Lilywhites faltered in their bid and ended the campaign in a European Conference League position.

Their failure to win a trophy in this campaign has forced Kane to ask for a transfer away from the club.

The England captain has several suitors and looks set to get his wish and that could see other players want to leave as well.

If his strike partner leaves, Son could ask for a transfer, but Football Insider says there are no fears at Spurs that it will happen.

The club is confident that the South Korean will be a part of their squad when a new manager takes over for next season.

They are even close to offering him a new deal as his current contract expires in two years.

Fans will be unhappy if they lose two of their best players in the same transfer window and that makes selling Son very unlikely even if he asks to leave.

That was a rumour earlier this year when WBO wanted Usyk to fight Joshua but Joshua wanted Fury. Now that’s gone, he’s back on for Usyk. I think you underestimate Joshua’s ability and he’s certainly no Paper Champion, he’s earned it. All of boxing is hype, the only reality is when the 2 fighters step into the ring.

According to Porky’s boxing channel the word is he’s vacating a belt rather than fight Usyk. Fury’s got 3rd fight with Wilder, they knew that, it was all more hype.

Where is your source for Joshua vacating his titles. Can’t find anything. He had signed to face Fury so your assertion that he is a bottle job is not justified.

Son surely will be thinking twice when Harry nicks off.

Also, not football but hilarious, Joshua has vacated rather than face Usyk?! I knew he wouldn’t want that heat. Just like when he avoided Ortiz. Pure boxer Usyk, what a paper Champion cash cow fraud Joshua is….
