Spurs look set to benefit from Juventus transfer decision

By Mark Brus -

Tottenham could reportedly be in luck as it’s reported that Juventus have decided not to take up the option to sign Alvaro Morata permanently.

The Spain international is currently on loan at Juve from Atletico Madrid, but he may be on the move again soon as Todo Fichajes claim Spurs are after him, and that he won’t be staying in Turin for the long-term.

Morata isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and might not be the most ideal transfer target for Tottenham up front, though he does have his qualities and is experienced at the highest level.

It won’t be easy replacing Harry Kane if his future is to come into doubt again, so it perhaps makes sense that this report links the club with Morata as one option being considered.

Many Spurs fans will no doubt hope that there are other, more exciting targets in mind as well, but it could be useful that Juventus don’t want to make his loan permanent.
