Reported Tottenham target Victor Osimhen is understood to be close to joining Napoli from Lille.
Italian journalist and transfer expert Nicolo Schria believes the Nigerian striker to be in advanced talks over a five-year deal.
Osimhen had been linked to follow coaches Joao Sacremento and Nuno Santos from Lille to Spurs but recent comments from his agent suggested he wouldn’t sign to play second fiddle to Harry Kane.
Here talkSPORT details those quotes Ariyo Igbayilola originally gave to Nigerian newspaper The Cable.
His path into the Napoli team appears a little easier as the Serie A club are preparing to lose Arkadiusz Milik.
This development is mixed news for us for whom Osimhen seemed a natural fit as Kane cover who could play out wide.
But we have also been tipped to make a move for Milik who only has 12 months left on his Napoli contract and could be available for a reasonable price if the Italians have already got a replacement in.
Would you rather have Osimhen or Milik?
