Spurs finally get a sleeves sponsor

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham has become the latest Premier League team to have a sleeve sponsor after avoiding that since they moved to a new stadium.

The Lilywhites have just announced Cinch as their sleeves sponsors going forward as they look for ways to make more money and cushion the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on their finances.

Spurs says that the partnership with the online car-selling platform will run for multiple years and the Cinch logo will be on both their male and female team jerseys.

Spurs have been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic, and this partnership offers the Lilywhites the chance to make some more money and add to their other revenue streams.

From their next game against Marine in the FA Cup, the Cinch logo will appear on the Tottenham jersey and it will also be seen on their women’s team jersey from their next game against Birmingham.

Nick Hoyle, Head of Partnership Development at Tottenham Hotspur, said via the club’s website: “We are excited to welcome cinch to our family of brand partners as our first Official Sleeve Partner. cinch is such an innovative brand and their customer first approach is well aligned with our own commitment of delivering an unrivalled experience for our fans. We look forward to working with cinch and introducing their brand to our supporters.”

Players are walking real estate, it will be like Grand Prix cars, how do Nike feel about their shirt which they have paid a fortune being invaded by Cinch. Any sponsors for the collar and cuffs?

I think we could squeeze a few more ads on the behind of the players shorts.
