Spurs could be impacting the Serie A managerial market claims agent

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham’s managerial search might be holding up Italian teams from getting new bosses of their own.

The Lilywhites have been in search of a new manager since they fired Jose Mourinho and haven’t found one yet.

They have been linked with a move for several managers, including at least two from Italy.

Former Chelsea bosses, Maurizio Sarri and Antonio Conte have both been linked with reports suggesting that they even held talks with the latter.

Sarri has been out of a job since Juventus sacked him at the start of last season and several teams have approached him.

Lazio is the latest club to make an approach for him, but he is reluctant to accept the offer and the negotiations aren’t making serious progress.

Italian agent, Massimo Brambati, has now speculated that the delay in Tottenham naming a new boss could be holding things up for Serie A clubs with the likes of Sarri waiting to see if the Lilywhites will make them their next manager.

“I only know that the president of Tottenham, with Paratici, who not having reached an agreement with Conte, has the spotlight on various managers,” Brambati said on Tutto Mercato Web Radio.

“I don’t know if this delay depends on Tottenham’s interest in Sarri. I don’t understand why all this delay. These unsigned encounters do not bring Lotito very good news, see what happened with Inzaghi.”

Yes I do , he has a great system in place and he is a very forward, positive thinking coach, he only needed a striker and he would have been top ten finish.
We have a better squad but with top quality players he could bring White, Lamptey and Bissouma, what’s not to like ?

Doing this is a win win for levy. DOF gets a manager and he fails its the DOF fault.
New manager comes in a does well, levy goes ” i listened to the criticism and got you want you wanted someone to run the footballing side day to day, I made that appointment look how great I am when I get it right”.

Lets hope its Harry Potter. It’s going to take some kind of wizardry to turn this sh*t show around. Or maybe Jesus Christ himself – ‘turning water into wine’…………………..

Would make sense. He can focus on coaching. Leaving transfers to Paratici. Potter is just about Pochy enough.
Surprised that Farke doesn’t get a shout. He’s now had a few years at Norwich and has really developed players there without having a huge budget.

Levy is a cunning little punter.

With this Italian d o f appointment it seems Levy has decided to pay someone to pass the buck on getting a manager in, so he can divert criticism when it goes pear shaped from neglect again. An extra cook to blame the food poisoning on…. cunning.
