Spurs are making “frequent” contact with Italian manager’s entourage

Spurs are serious about naming Maurizio Sarri as their next manager with reports in Italy claiming that the Lilywhites have been in touch with his entourage.

Sarri has been out of work since last summer when Juventus relieved him of his duties.

The Italian spent just a season with them and won the Italian league as well as reaching the final of the Italian Cup.

However, his team fell short in the Champions League and was eliminated from the Round-of-16 stage by Lyon.

That proved to be his undoing and the Old Lady replaced him with Andrea Pirlo before this season started.

Spurs have just sacked Jose Mourinho after their 2-2 draw against Everton made it tougher for them to finish the season inside the top four.

They have made Ryan Mason their interim manager, but they are almost certain to replace him in the summer and Calciomercato says Sarri will likely be their next permanent boss.

The report says the correspondence between Tottenham and his representatives have been “frequent”.

The London side has been holding talks with his agent, Fali Ramadani and they hope to agree over the summer so that he can take charge from the start of next season.

You say, from where? But if the money is not there, why get rid of the one man that will by hook or by crook get us to the highest league position possible, or the one man that will win us a trophy, if its at all possible?

You sack him, to go get WHO?

Davies can fck off too. God knows how he’s a Tottenham player. Oh yeah model pro and trains well. (So what) winks was a model pro that trains well and Marcus Edward’s maybe not so much. I know who the better player is. If someone woulda said to me back then when they were both playing at the lamex that winks would make the first team and Marcus wouldn’t I’d a said they were mad.

Whoever the new manager coming in is he might wanna take a good look at the squad properly first before he sells anyone. Dier Davies and the rest of the duds may not be sold this summer😔. Kane will still be here next season

I think it’s more of a case of ability rather than attitude.. He would be like Iniesta or Pirlo if he was better.. Pierre and Harry have the mentality of course. The vast majority of our squad lack this winning mindset. You either have it or you don’t. It seperates the winners and the rest.. You can get away with a couple of snowflakes in a squad, but not when they outnumber the rest. We need a full transition and the likes of Dele Winks and Dier to move on if we are serious about competing.

Quick talking points before I go into “isolation” tonight:

a) Forget Sarri
b) If West Brom are relegated we should make a move for reportedly valued £10m keeper Sam Johnstone
c) The final top 4 spot is seemingly between Spurs, Chelsea and West Ham
d) Unlike ourselves Leicester have no such problems with their impressive full backs duo of Castagne and Fofana!

Conte won the league with the record amount of wins 30.. And the fa cup. They still sacked him when their form stuttered.. Roman must be a bit crazy, or can’t believe in or understand form… Our managers sueing us is just what we need with a billion debt, plus paying their wages.. Botch was on 8 million and Maureen was on 15 reportedly.

Managers tend to turn to international on their way out.. Its less demanding and less pressure than club football.. Southgate would be a disaster.

They must really think football fans are THE dumbest people on this earth, just zero respect , to orchestrate what they have this week then gone out quietly the next day and done EXACTLY what they made out they hated. The “fans won” Bolox was the worst piece of tummy tickling in football history. NOW we protest. Against UEFA…..nobody’s won sh$t as Barnes rightfully said.

So they’ve ruined the Champions League then. They used that whole 48 hrs to moan about something that they’ve done anyway. Anyone who understands occult symbolism might like to look at the new champions league footballs. That’s what we’re dealing with here.

I’d be surprised if there is any punishment. If you are harsh with rebels then all you do is show them that they had good reason to rebel. Be the kind forgiving reasonable ruler and you breed more trust and loyalty for the future. Look at King John (failure) and Edward the first (success).

Just been reported Arsenal have to pay an £8 million pounds penalty fee for withdrawal from the Super League, this could increase, UEFA are also looking at fining the rich six and banning them from European competitions next year. The Premier League are said to be looking at docking the rich six fourteen points next season

Southgate appears to be a good man-manager but I have my doubts about him tactically. He comes across as articulate and mild-mannered and is good with the media but we want better than somebody who has a degree in media communications and diplomacy. As for Martinez, no thanks. Poch schooled him a number of times when he was at Everton and I was never impressed with his teams defensively.

I wouldn’t mind the Wolves manager he seems like a bit of a dude but I can’t see him tolerating our megalomaniac of a chairman.
