Son’s change of agent might affect new deal

By Bruce Grove -

Son Heung-min has made Creative Artists Agency and Base his new agent and that might delay his new Tottenham deal, Mail Online reports.

The South Korean has made a solid start to this campaign and his form for Tottenham has prompted talks of a new deal to be brought up by the media.

Tottenham knows that the attacker has done more than enough to earn a new contract at the club and they will be looking to tie his long-term future down.

The attacker will also want to take advantage of his current form to get the best contract that he can get, and he has now joined CAA and Base.

The agency also has Jose Mourinho and Dele Alli as their clients and they will look to get the best deal for their new player.

The report claims that Son currently earns around £110,000-a-week and he will be hoping to get much more than that in a new long-term contract.

Tottenham have shown the ambition of a team that wants to end their trophy drought as soon as possible.

They signed some impressive players in the last transfer window and they will hope that they can also keep their top players happy with new deals.
