Sevilla are keen on signing Sergio Reguilon from Tottenham Hotspur when the transfer window reopens in January.

According to Fichajes, Sevilla are unimpressed with the performances of Valentin Barco, who is currently on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion. They are prepared to send the Argentine back to his parent club in January and they are looking at all alternatives.
Reguilon could be the ideal acquisition for them. He has played for Sevilla in the past and he knows the club well. He should be able to make an immediate impact if he joins the La Liga outfit. A return to familiar surroundings could be ideal for the defender as well.
The 27-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Tottenham and he is unlikely to get regular opportunities with them. His contract will expire in the summer of 2025 as well. He is likely to be available for a reasonable price in January and Sevilla would do well to secure his signature.
If they can help him regain his form and confidence, he could prove to be a bargain addition for them. Reguilon is still very much at the peak of his powers, and regular football in Spain could help him regain his form.
