Premier League football returns after another mind-numbing international break and Tottenham will play seven Premier League games before Christmas day in what one could call a fixture pile-up.
Of course, that does not include the senseless European Conference League and neither does it include the festive matches and you can only imagine what effect that sort of congestion will have on squads over the next couple of months.
However, this article is not about fixture congestion or minor competitions, it is about how many points will Tottenham pick up by the time we all sit down for our Christmas dinners.
These are the seven Premier League games in question
21 Nov – Tottenham v Leeds United
28 Nov – Burnley v Tottenham
02 Dec – Tottenham v Brentford
05 Dec – Tottenham v Norwich City
12 Dec – Brighton v Tottenham
16 Dec – Leicester v Tottenham
19 Dec – Tottenham v Liverpool
Now, this is of course purely subjective and I have no doubts will not be universally agreed with but I am of the opinion that Tottenham will go unbeaten and pick up a cool 17 points from a possible 21.
I reckon there will be draws against Leicester and Liverpool and wins against Leeds, Burnley, Brentford, Norwich and Brighton.
So, there you go, that is my prediction, quite possibly a deluded one but that is where my feelings are at this moment in time.
Let us know in the comments below how many points you reckon that Spurs will pick up in the league before Christmas dinner.

Haven’t got the foggiest, we’re utterly unpredictable. I just want to see steady improvement over each game.
I thought the general consensus of opinion is that we have a bunch of non trying low quality players, if so you have to doubt we can attain that many points. The main problem is the amount of goals being scored, and that has to change dramatically to have a chance of winning games.
I’m with this.. But we should beat Leicester too really.. We don’t want draws, but Brighton or even Leeds can shock on a good day… We should go for the full 18 points before Liverpool.. But likely to pick up a draw or two. 16 or 14 points likely.
Between 10-13 but yeah that area… no way are we going unbeaten for all those games… it’s not in our DNA..
Zero, and mark my words it will be definitely be Enic’s fault.
16 points: 5 wins, a draw (vs Leicester) and a defeat (vs Liverpool).
13 points – four wins, a draw and two defeats.
