Serie A club turns down Tottenham offer for star defender

By Eddie Razo -

Finding a central defender to anchor their backline for the foreseeable future is one of the top priorities this summer Tottenham Hotspur. The English club has looked at various profiles, one being Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar.

According to L’Interista, Tottenham made an offer of €30 million plus another €5 million in add-ons. However, the Italian club didn’t waste any time turning down the sum proposed by the Premier League side.

Inter Milan considers the 26-year-old a vital part of its defense, but it doesn’t mean they aren’t open to a sale. The report states that if Tottenham or any club interest in Skriniar would offer more than €50 million.

The Italian club is still dealing with some financial issues, and for that sum, they’ll consider a sale. Inter Milan sold off Achraf Hakimi to Paris Saint-Germain for €60-million plus add-ons, so it will likely take this type of offer for Tottenham to land Skriniar.

Should have signed Skriniar last season just like Grealish, you’d be looking at an eighty million profit on Jack now. Still we saved ten million on not signing Grealish, that’s the main thing.

Naturally, the Arse buy Ben White for 50 million pounds, while we haggle over a guy we should have signed a year ago – and if we did, it could have been the difference between finishing in CL spots or the ECL spot.

Nothing to see here.
