See Just How Ravaged The Spurs Squad Is Right [graphic]

By The Boy -

For those of a nervous disposition, either look away now, or perhaps look above the current Tottenham manager for answers. It’s always a somewhat tedious discussion amongst fans when it comes to injuries.

Bad luck can always play a part, but there’s also the murkier business of players having simply played too many games without benefiting from rotation.

It’s quite possible that the latter issue has effected Kane and Sissoko, and a fact that muscle related injuries dogged Mauricio Pochettino’s reign.

Spurs’ accumulative sheepishness in the transfer market has cost the club dearly. It’s quite probable that this played a significant part in costing Poch his job.

Liverpool have strength in depth mate i have explained before… They dont have a threadbare squad like us.. There is no scouse phenomenon, in the last 3 years they brought class where and when needed.. We stood still… Liverpool have in fact 16 different goalscorers so far across all comps. They have used 22 players not 16. They have decent cover and dont overwork anyone. The likes of salah gets rested. If their striker firminho gets injured then origi steps up. They have loads of good midfielders attacking and defending a good blend of styles.. Its all about the players. Liverpool are a big club who run properly with a great manager.. We have needed another decent striker for nearly three years now.. And the rest.

Perhaps, but how do we explain the Liverpool phenomenon of using 16 players across 5 competitions, playing a high intensity pressing game, game after game, from first minute to last, never coasting, never starting games slowly, year in year out. They do get injuries, though strangely the injury prone Chamberlain is ex Arsenal.
