Robbie Keane took over Tottenham’s official Twitter account on Tuesday and he counted down through his favourite goals for the club.
The 39-year-old spent six seasons at Spurs, scoring 122 goals in 306 games while helping the club win the League Cup in 2008.
It was the most prolific spell of his career, and so he will unsurprisingly have some fond memories of his time in north London.
As seen in the video below, the former Republic of Ireland international eventually got to his favourite goal and it was certainly a memorable one.
It came against Blackburn Rovers at White Hart Lane, and it was a fine example of the composure, skill and finishing ability that Keane possessed in his prime and it went down well with supporters based on the comments.
Keane also shared an important message to fans amid the coronavirus pandemic, as he urged everyone to stay safe with Tottenham looking to keep their followers entertained with many either working from home or being told to self-isolate.
