Rival player calls Kane the best finisher he’s ever seen

By Bruce Grove -

Harry Kane has been one of the world’s best strikers for several years now.

The England captain has been arguably the most important player at Tottenham and his goals are one of the reasons why the club has remained a top side in England.

He has won the Premier League’s Golden Boot in multiple seasons, and he also won the Golden Boot at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Several top strikers in the world are also in fantastic form, but not many come close to Kane.

West Ham star Declan Rice knows about the Tottenham striker as a Premier League player and a football fan, however, he got the chance to see the striker up-close and personal when they played for the national team together.

He has recently revealed that he watched Kane in training and realised that he has never seen anyone finish better than the 27-year-old in his career.

Rice was asked on Sky Sports’ Super 6 podcast which international teammate has surprised him the most, he said: “It’s so hard to say because there’s so many in different ways.

“Even in that last camp just gone back, I said to Eric Dier I’ve never seen finishing like Harry Kane in my life, I’ve never seen it.

“We did a finishing drill and he finished every single ball from outside the ‘D’ with power and precision.

“I know how good he is but witnessing it in training, it’s so sick to watch, as a football person as well, as a fan, as a player, to watch him just doing that you have to applaud it.”
