Revealing comments from Jose Mourinho who is convinced he will be a better coach at Tottenham

Jose Mourinho has delivered a message to those who think that he is probably getting too old to do a good job at Tottenham.

The Portuguese manager has been at the top level of management since 2002 and his career has been trophy-laden.

However, there have been times when he has struggled as well as times when he has fallen out with his club.

He admits that there was a point when he was too impulsive and too emotional.

Having won everything in the game, one will think that he would be thinking about retiring from the game soon.

However, the special one has revealed that he is only going to get better.

He claimed that his job is one that he will get better with age and experience and that is exactly what is happening to him.

He was asked how he stays motivated having won everything in the game and he revealed that one of his secrets is that he is still very young to be in his current job.

“First of all, because I’m very young,” he said as reported by The Independent when asked how he stays motivated. “People think I’m very old because I have been at this level since 2002. 

“I’m not very old. I’m very young for a football manager. It’s the kind of job where you become better with experience and not worse. 

“I am not impulsive any more. I am more in control of my emotions. I think better, decide better. I think a coach, the older you get, there’s an accumulation of experience.

“You are not a player. You don’t need your body to work in the same way. You need your brain to be better. I don’t need to sprint. I don’t need to jump. I don’t need to run for 90 minutes. I need to think. So a coach gets better and better until the motivation is gone.”
