Tottenham Hotspur wants to make final additions to the squad before the summer transfer window closes next week. The London-based club has seen their name in connection with Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Adama Traoré.
However, any hope that Tottenham had of reuniting the 25-year-old with his former manager could be dwindling.
According to The Telegraph, Wolves are adamant they have no plans to sell the Spain international this summer, serving a severe blow to Nuno Espírito Santo’s bid to work with the Wolves forward again.
Traore has two years remaining on his contract and is understood to have been interested in working with his former manager again.
Despite Traore’s openness to a departure and has not altered Wolves’ stance, the 24-year-old seen as an indispensable member of Bruno Lage’s squad has already made a brilliant start to the new campaign.
If Tottenham wants to add another forward to their squad, it seems as though they’ll need to look elsewhere.
if the rumours are true regardless of if you want him or not, these are the transfers that show if we are serious we are the city in this situation pay up of shut up spurs
He is 24 and 25 years old (article typo), I am confused to as why he keeps darting down blind alleys even after he has his man beat. No intentions of cutting into the box. I means Nuno saw that for 3 years. Why do you all think he is going to change and start coming inside where he can inflict damage on the defense. But that is just me thinking his football IQ is very low.
with all respect to the lad, he may be at the level we’re currently at, but probably nowhere near the level we need to be
just a pumped up Bergwijn
